Marley's at The Olympics

It's Black History Month and every Friday this month, here at Liipstik we will be bringing you some news about fashion by some talented Black indiviuals in the industry. In a few days we will be celebrating the life of Reggae's biggest artist, Bob Marley. On February 6th, the iconic music artist would have been celebrating his 66th birthday. Even though he isn't here, his legacy still continues through his children and music and influences the world.

Yesterday, Puma announced they will be teaming up with Cedella Marley, his eldest daughter, to design the Olympic uniforms for the Jamacian track and field team for the upcoming games in London in 2012.

So now the Marley's will be at the Olymipcs! Cedella will be making uniforms for the fastest man in the world Usain Bolt! How amazing is that. “It’s going to be inspirational to run in London with that energy surrounding me,” said Bolt about the coming games. Not only will the energy be amazing, not to mention, you'll be around running around looking FLY!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to see the final looks. Congrats Cedella.
