Move over Taylor Momsen because there is a new material girl in town, Rock princess Kelly Osbourne. The 26-year-old is the new face of the brand owned by Madonna and her 14-year-old daughter, Lourdes aka Lola. Osbourne is featured in all the ads for Spring 2011, which are fun, flirty, colourful and edgy just like Kelly, Lourdes and the Material Girl collection. The ad was shot in NYC's East Villi age and was photographed by Brooke Nipar. I can see why Kelly is the perfect fit for the brand. Also another great thing about Osbourne being the new face for Material girl is it shows the collection isn't only for teenage girls, there are a few items that a women any age would enjoy.
Lourdes thought Osbourne was a perfect fit for the brand saying, “I remember exactly what she was wearing: a striped maxidress with a jean jacket and pink blazer and I thought she looked so cool. So when [Iconix] came to us with a selection of girls [for the campaign] and she was one of them, I was like, ‘Oh my God, she’s great and she has great style.’ I just think she’s very individual but at the same time she’s very fashionable.”
Great news for Canadians, the collection isn't only available at Macy's, it will be coming across the border and will be available at The Bay in the next coming months.
