Months after the tragic death Alexander McQueen, the first book of many to come in memory of the legendary designer is going to be released on May 7th.
It's entitled "Alexander McQueen, Genius of a Generation" and was written by fashion journalist and blogger Kristin Knox. The 128-page book describes the Britain icon's life as a child, to his days as a young designer, till his last unfinished fall/winter 2010 collection. McQueen’s last collection will be shown during a private viewing sessions in Paris later on in the year. As well is filled with 120-images of some of McQueen's most though provoking, inspirational and beautiful work.
This is going to a one of the first of many legendary books dedicated to McQueen. It’s well deserved praised for McQueen and a great dedication to him from his fans, colleagues and the fashion industry. I’m TRES excited.
