The Countdown to the Kanye Collection

It's almost here.

The day we have all been waiting for.

The launch of Kanye West's womenswear collection, which will hit the runway in Paris tomorrow at 9:30pm.

There has been so much buzz around the fashion world about the Louis Vuitton Don's debut clothing line and first fashion show.

The clothes are being made inside a former nightclub in London called Turnmills and will probably be super expensive!

Mr. West didn't create the line on his own. He had help from friends in fashionable high places like; Harper’s Bazaar Australia fashion editor Christine Centenera, knitwear designer Louise Goldin, British fashion designer Katie Eary and students at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Whoa! That's a full roster!!

Earlier in the week, in preparation for the show Kanye did some last minute fabric shopping at London Trimmings, in the city's east-end. The dapper rapper handpicked zippers and fabrics and spent about £14,000, when you do the conversion it's nearly $22,000! When the owner of the shop asked Kanye why he was shopping for fabrics, Kanye responded, "I want to work from the ground upwards, I don't want to leave it to someone else." The picture above is of Kanye and the store owners.

I love how involved and devoted West has been to his collection. We all know he has a deep passion for fashion, so I'm sure you will see his love and dedication in every piece of the line. And I'm about 99.9 percent positive we'll see Kanye sporting some of the line too. After all, remember he did wear a Celine women's blouse during his performance at the Cochella Music Festival this past summer.

Here's a look at the invite.

As soon as we get pics, we will be sure to share them with you.

xoxo
