Is Blake Lively the New Carrie Bradshaw?

It takes a fashionista to play a fashionista.

And that may be the case with Blake Lively and her soon to be role as Carrie Bradshaw, the character Sarah Jessica Parker made famous with HBO's hit "Sex and the City" over 13 years ago. That's right, Lively may be set to play Carrie if Candice Bushnell's book " The Carrie Diaries" becomes a movie.

"The Carrie Diaries" is about Carrie's life as a teen before the Manolo's, Prada and hitting it big in the Big Apple as a writer. And if it is made into a film it will be a prequel to the "Sex and the City" series. The novel was one of the best-selling books of 2010. Nothing is set in stone just yet, but Lively's name has been mentioned to play a young Bradshaw.

The production is only in the "talking" phase right now, so things can change any minute. Right now the film will be produced by Michael Patrick King, who produced the first two "Sex and the City" movies. Some other rumored details about the film; Carrie will have new stylish friends (Sorry Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte) and will follow her journey from Connecticut to New York City.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out. I can see why Blake's name has been metioned to play Bradshaw. She's very stylish and fashionable young lady, so maybe it can work. What do you think? Can Blake Lively really be the next Carrie Bradshaw?

Countdown to "Sex And The City 2"

With "Sex And The City 2" coming out in just about two weeks, be ready to see the ladies more than before.

For the June 2010 issue of US Marie Claire, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis & Kim Cattrall each have their own cover for the publication.

SJP is sporting a gold Balmain dress; Kim is looking sexy in Valentino and both Cynthia and Kristin are looking fab in Dior.

You can get each copy of the mag with the "Sex And The City" stars right now. It hit new stands yesterday.

Sex and the City 2 Trailer

After two years, the fashionably hit series and movie "Sex and the City" is back on the big screen May 27th for "Sex and the City 2." And guess what?? We have the trailer for the film right here!

Words can't even describe how EXCITED I am right now! When I saw the trailer for the film I SCREAMED!!! (You can tell by my excessive CAPS and exclamation mark use. Sorry)

This time, the stylish foursome will be in Abu Dhabi having fun exploring love, life and fashion!! DUH!!!

Carrie. Samantha. Miranda. Charlotte. All back together again. The fashion. The fantasy. The fun. The glitz. The glam. 0o0o man, I'm overwhelmed.

I'm really too excited. On Saturday nights when there is nothing on TV, I just kick back and watch some "Sex and the City." Whether it's the first movie or the entire 94-episode series, it's filled with laughs and tears and I know I'll have a BLAST!

This is definitely a movie to sit back and enjoy with your homegirls, of course in some FAB outfits.

Enough of me blabbing away, enjoy the trailer. I know I will, since I'll be watching it over and over again.
