Diary of a Fab Stylist -- Vicky Secret Fashion Show Finale!

Earlier in the week we showed you some images from the Victoria Secret fashion show and man were they stunning!! I can't wait till the show airs on November 30th, I swear its like my fave part of winter aside from Christmas and New Years oh yea and presents! Every year I perform the same ritual as I watch the Vicky Secret show, and it goes like this; in my mind I put my face on the models bodies pretending to be walking the coveted runway! LOL, crazy? Perhaps but it's my life so don't judge! Then I get depressed because the thought of not eating carbs for a month to get my body to look like theirs is alarming and when I'm done watching I try to do a 1,000 sit-ups to try and imitate their hot bods, however I give up around the 200 sit-up mark and go eat ice cream :). As much as the show makes me envious I love all the pieces and it truly highlights my day. The video below is a teaser of the finale and they look like they are having so much fun!! I apologize if I ruined the show for you but I'm sure you'll get over it, enjoy :)!

Konvict and Perry to Become Angels

The past few months have been buzzing about the upcoming Victoria's Secrect fashion show. It is still a few weeks away, but it seems every few weeks a little bit of news keeps on leaking about the show.

A few weeks ago, here at Liipstik we showed you some sketches of a few costumes for the big show airing on CBS on November 30th. And now some new news has come out about the world's most highly anticipated lingerie fashion shows. This year two more angels can be added to the roster.

California girl, Katy Perry and Konvict Records artist, Akon, will be headlining the performances for the one-of-a-kind fashion show. I'm sure the runway will be filled with "Daisy dukes and bikinis on top," so for Perry to perform is a natural fit. And Akon always makes fun hits that ladies love to dance to, so I'm positive it will be a success.

Victoria's Secret is Out!

One of the world's most highly anticipated lingerie fashion shows, Victoria's Secret, let the cat out of the bag. The lingerie brand has released sketches from their upcoming 2010 show.

Of course expect to see some beautifully designed and elaborate wings for the angels, but some are without. One sketch has boxing theme, with the model draped in a large purple hooded robe with "Knock Out" on the back.

The next outfit has a Victorian theme, with a plaid bra and pantie to match. It also is paired with a puffy shoulder and waist coat. To me it sounds very "Little Bo Peep" inspired.

O0o I cant wait to see the rest of the outfits. The show will air on CBS on November 30th.

Victoria Secret is "Incredible"

On Tuesday three of the newer Victoria Secret models, Chanel Iman, Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heathertonwere who were showcasing VS' newest product, the "Incredible" bra at their Victoria Secret store in Soho.

Apparently the bra is seamless and soft against the skin. they also promote the self adjustable straps but I would have to check it out to see if it works when VS hits Toronto on Aug 26th.

Jourdan Dunn Earns Her Wings

Yesterday it was announced that 19-year-old supermodel and new mom, Jourdan Dunn, has a new modelling gig.

The fashionable Brit is now one of the newest angels for Victoria's Secret. Dunn just gave birth seven months ago and since February she has been ripping the runway and been in top model shape. Not to mention her, her cover for i-D magazine last month put her back in the modelling game.

Jourdan is not the only mom wearing wings with Victoria's Secret. She'll join fashionable moms like Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes.
