It was shot in Jamaica, one of my new loves in life! So Rih Rih + Jamaica = LIIPSTIK LOVES!!! Of course I'm loving the fashion sported by the Bajan beauty. It really has some sexy island flare!

New Joint -- Kelly Rowland "Motivation"

Kelly Rowland's track "Motivation" has been playing on repeat for the last few weeks on my ipod and now she has a video for the banger. The video is really sexy and fits the track to a T. I'm completely obsessed with this song and video especially since there are SO MANY sexy men in the video. When this song bumps in the clubs its sure to shut it down in my opinion at least, it makes me wanna do some Ciara body rolls and a Rihanna slow whine LOL. This is my song of the day and I have been playing it since I got up at 8 a.m I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I have!

Fashion Film Fab-- Josefin Strid

Here is a fashion film for a Friday treat. It comes all the way from Swedish designer, Josefin Strid. Josefin started to designer at the age of 15 and since then has become one of Sweden's top up and coming and most talented designers.

From just getting a quick glimpse of some of the fashion pieces from the collection, I am in love with the sliced black leather dress, which is from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection. The model, Elin G looks so stunning. In the video she has this eerie, empty, sad vibe to her that I am feeling. I love her bold red lop and the bronzed smokey eye look. Too bad I can't do it. I honestly attempted the look several times, however I just look like I got punched in the eye with bronze dust! I absolutely love the song in the video and I want to see more and more from the talented designer.

Click here to check out his website, but for now check out the video.

New Music -- KING "The Story"

I don't know where they came from but KING is my new favourite group, their hypnotizing melodies and smooth vocals have left me in a trance. I actually found out about the group from a friend who suggested that I take in their music, since then I've been spreading the word about this new group I feel like they are what modern day music is missing filling that R&B void that has become a mix between pop and house these days.

The group consists of twins Paris and Amber Strother and Anita Bias who write and produce their own music, talk about talented! Their sound has an old school vibe to it, reminds me of something similar to the sound of Sly and the Family Stone but with a modern jazzy twist to it. My idea of a great song is one where after 4 days of listening to it straight I don't get tired of it and this song has definitely accomplished that. These ladies are the ones to watch in my opinion, check the track below!!

Crystal Renn on Diversity on the Runways

I'm a big fan/ supporter of plus size model Crystal Renn. I think she is absolutely stunning and shows those skinny minnie runway princesses that she can model with the best of them despite her size. In this documentary Renn is discussing the diversity issue in the modelling industry with model turned documentary -filmmaker Sara Ziff. I love that she is openly discussing this because it is a huge issue. Especially when only one figure is showcased in magazines and runways, its not really fair or representative of their client base considering the women that purchase these pieces come from different backgrounds and have different body types.

Video Fab -- J. Cole "In the Morning"

Anyone who knows me, knows I BUMP J. Cole all day everyday, he plays constantly on my phone, one of my favourite tracks off his mixtape has finally got some shine and landed itself a video *yay*. The track is called "In the morning" featuring Drake, this track is from his third mixtape "Friday NIght Lights". I can't lie I expected a bit more from the video because the song is sooooo dope, I guess the story line I envisioned was too obvious and maybe they wanted to go a different route *shrugs*. Either way the song has made my day and the leading lady in the video is really cute, she reminds me of a mini Cassie. Anyways I hope you enjoy the track!

Wale "The Break Up Song"

Many would assume that In the spirit of Valentines day I was being a "Negative Nancy" by posting a song about break-ups especially when L-O-V-E is in full circulation. I was inspired to post this video because I've noticed a dramatic increase in the emergence of couples, intense pda, and canoodling. So I asked myself, "Is this something that these couples do everyday and I failed to notice, or are they being influenced by the month of love?". I came across this video by DC rapper Wale and I fell in love, the video took influences from the Indie movie "500 days of Summer", (which I love) and even had Morgan Freeman narrating in the beginning which is DOPE!

"The Break-up Song" video basically holds a mirror up to a relationship and shows the contrast between what a relationship should be like and the actual reality of what the relationship is. I think its perfect because a lot of single folk get depressed around this time thinking everyone is in love when a good portion of them are putting up a front and are actually unhappy. Valentines day or not this happens all the time, its called keeping up appearances. I'm not trying to rain on anyones parade and not saying break-up if your relationship is less than perfect, I want EVERYONE to be happy whether they're single or taken! Just realize sometimes the grass isn't as green on the other side as it seems. Take the song in and enjoy!

Video Fab -- Nicki MInaj "Moment for Life"

Check out the newest Nicki Minaj video from her debut album Pink Friday, the track is called "Moment for Life" featuring label mate Drake. I'm assuming since Nicki is a "Prince" then Drake is her Ken/ Princess lol if that is the case love the role reversal. Nicki's alter ego Roman was not present for this video but its all good she still had her random moment in the beginning lol. To be honest I really liked the video and I loved that she looked so stunning, the blue fit is my favourite look! By the way that head piece is dope, I give it a month and you will see girls rocking that everywhere! As one of the very last female MC's in the game right now Miss. Nicki is doing her thing! Loves her!

Vintage Vibes -- Usher "Nice & Slow"

Usher has been in the music game for a long time before he made it big time and broke into that top 40. He was a teenage R&B heartthrob that loved to show off his abs, rock his stocking cap and sport his "U" chain, all while turning all the girls on with his smooth dance moves.

This throwback brings me back to elementary when Usher was the man! Lol. I loved Nice and Slow when I was a kid and I knew it was a dirty song but at my young age I had no clue what he was talkin' bout, however you better believe I sure acted like I did. As I watch the video now I see one of the flyest ex-models that ever touched the runway and that was Ms Kimora Lee Simmons, she was looking super fab in the video but truth be told I wasn't really checking for her like that back then. I was too busy salivating over Usher and his baby oiled abs lol. Anyways I hope y'all enjoy this video I know I sure did!

Twenty8 Artist Management and Three60 Management Present: Show Stephens x Lokz x Haley Small

I know we're hella late with this post but with the holidays and family time lifes been a lil' hectic. A few weeks ago Twenty8 Artist Management and Three60 Management held a private showcase for their upcoming artists and it was dope. The showcase was held at LOL Lounge and featured Toronto artists Haley Small, Show Stephens, and Lokz. It wouldn't be a showcase without some industry tastemakers such as Karl Wolf, Trey Armstrong and Mark Taylor who came out to support the amazing talent.

I'm all for bringing back that good R&B and I truly believe these artists have what it takes to really make a mark on the music industry, Haley is very talented and has such a beautiful voice that has such a soothing quality to it. As for the gentlemen, there's just something about a man that can sing that really does something to us females and believe me Show and Lokz have that little somethin' somethin'. Below is the video for Show's single "So Amazing" as well as video of Lokz single "Without you" and Haley Small doing a cover of Chris Browns "No Bulls%*t" . Be on the look out for these artists , and support T.O music!!

Jennifer Lopez " Waiting for Tonight"

Hey guys, its less than 24hrs till New Years and I'm sure everyone is excited!! I feel like Jennifer Lopez's "Waiting for Tonight" is an appropriate track for whats about to go down tonight. It was in '99 when they released this song just before New Years when everyone thought the world would come to an end and the systems would malfunction because they didn't know if the systems could understand the switch from 1999- 2000. Honestly I was younger and a little frightened at that time but J.Lo and company in the video kind of eased my fears along with a lot if reassurance from my mom and faith in God I realized that nothing bad would happen. I loved this song because it gets you moving and its fun and J.Lo looks A-MAZING! Enjoy!

"Why'd You Leave me on Christmas?" Ask B2K!!

I remember when B2K was the best thing since cotton candy and prior to the group splitting up they released a Christmas album. Now I was a J-Boog fan and I used to get dreamy eyes every time he hit the screen and I swear I vowed I would never leave him on Christmas if he made me his girl lol.

My siblings and I would sing this song even when it wasn't Christmas although my brothers seem to have selective memory and "don't remember" their dramatic renditions of the Christmas song. This song brought back so many memories of my B2K obsession lol I'm sure many of you ladies can relate! I hope you guys enjoy this song and drop us a line to tell us which B2K member you had a crush on!

All I want for Christmas is...YOU!!!

Vintage Mariah too me was the best Mariah and her Merry Christmas album was crack! Its like 16years old but the songs get steady play every Christmas. If Mariah Carey decided not to work again the royalties from this Christmas album would be able to support her forever! I loved this video because it was fun, tobogganing, frolicking in the snow with Santa and kicking it with the reindeer all the things I know I really wanted to do when I was younger but couldn't seem to get a hold of Santa to set up a play date. This is one of my favourite Christmas songs isn't it obvious? (Please refer to the "All I want for Christmas" posts) LOL. As Christmas is now 10 days away I want everyone to enjoy this song and appreciate remember Christmas isn't about just presents its about spending time with family and friends as well as celebrating Christ's birth for the people who are religious. Anyways love Mimi's red one piece snowsuit looking like a Ms. Claus in training lol.

Christmas Throwback -- Boys II Men "Let it Snow"

This is my favourite non traditional Christmas song of all time, it comes from legendary boy group Boys II Men featuring Brian McKnight. There is something about a man that can sing that does something to me and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I remember watching this video as a little girl and hoping one day when I was older I would go to the cabin with my boyfriend and my girls and we would basically re-enact the video. This song holds so much memories and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
