Kim Kardashian does Glam Rock Line

The eldest sisters of the Kardashian clan, Kourtney, Kim and Khole have already created a jewelry and accessory line for Bebe, but now Kim has decided to create a line of her own. Kim has teamed up to create a jewelry line called Belle Noel Baubles by Kim Kardashian. The line looks rock-inspired and very edgy, but still has the Kardashian glitz and glamour. It’s filled with statement pieces, like rings, necklaces and earrings.

My faves are the Love bracelet ($25), the Glam Rock Long Finger Ringer ($46) and the Dagger Pendant in 14kt Yellow Gold ($63). The line ranges from $25 to about $100. Kim has been seen all around town with her new line of accessories and it has definitely caught my eye. I think the Kardashian family can sell anything and make money. I'm a fan of the line. Kim already has a great sense of style, so this was just another natural venture for her. If you want you want a piece of Kim, check out her collection on www.singer22.com.

Estée Lauder's New Face of Beauty

Yesterday, Estée Lauder announced model Joan Smalls is the new face and spokesmodel for their skincare and cosmentic lines. The global advertisments will begin to appear in May 2011.

Smalls was born in Puerto Rico and is the first Puerto Rican spokesmodel for the brand. Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Estée Lauder's Global Brand President, is very excited to have the new model join the Estée Lauder family. She tells the Vancouver Sun, "We are thrilled to introduce Joan to women around the world. She truly reflects Estée Lauder’s modern vision of global beauty.”

You may recognize Smalls beautiful face. Since 2007, the IMG model has been taking the modelling world by storm. Smalls has shot for all the major fashion publications in the globe. She has rocked the runways in New York, Paris and many more worldwide. She has also starred in global campaigns for fashion houses like Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Gucci and The Gap. Not to mention the 22-year-old is also in the recent Alexander McQueen tribute video "To Lee" by Nick Knight.

Right now Joan is holding the 18th spot for the top 50 models in the world.

Landing a beauty campaign is one of the greatest accomplishments a model can land during their career and with this under her belt, Joan is one step closer to supermodel status. I love the fact that cosmetic companies can embrace the beauty of all cultures and ethnicities. The colour of beauty goes way beyond blonde hair and blue eyes. With Joan's new campaigns coming soon and being the first Puerto Rican model is a huge step to make diversity accepted in the modelling world. I love this girl! Congrats!

Gilbert Arenas x D&G against the L.A lakers

Its no secret that most sports athletes boast a flashy lifestyle, I guess it just comes with the territory. Setting yourself apart other players is pretty hard when you're rocking the same jersey and very similar shoes. Although standing out fashion-wise isn't at the top of the priority list it is somewhat important to the basketball fashionisto's.

Gilbert Arenas loves a fancy kick and during his game against the L.A Lakers on Dec 7th, he decided his D&G high top sneakers were going to be his shoe of choice and man did he work it out. The black blue and yellow D&G sneaks matched his jersey to a tee and we love a dope match! These sneaks cost $395 but does it really matter when you look this fly? ughhh NO! Check Picks of the sneakers and Arenas in action below!

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, Which is the Sexiest Shoe of Them All??

Earlier in the week, Footwear News and Saks Fifth Avenue gather to honor the best in shoe design like Jimmy Choo, Manolo, Christian Louboutin, Brian Atwood and Giuseppe.

0o0o0 what I would do for a pair of any of those shoes. And to literally find the sexiest shoe of the year, would be tough. But out of all the fab and unique designs which shoe climbed all the way to number one shoe of the year? Drum roll....................

It was the shoes with the red bottoms! Christian Louboutin's Maralena crystal-covered mesh peep-toe pump. Back in April, we told you about the shoe when we told you about Christian Louboutin's Fall/Winter 2010 Collection called "Winter Tales." And now this beautiful shoe is taking the honors of being the "Sexiest Shoe of the Year."

I don't know what to say! I would definately love to see the shoes that came in second and third competition was probably stiff. Every girl wants to feel sexy and why not do it in the sexiest heels of 2010. Just know these badboys will cost you more than a pretty penny.

Liipstik Approved -- MMVA 2010 Edition

Last night, one of the biggest Canadian award shows brought some of the youngest and brightest stars from North America right to 299 Queen Street West. The 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards had the streets of downtown Toronto buzzing.

The MMVAs is my favourite Canadian Award show, mainly because it's all about the fans. They are right up and personal with the celebs during every aspect of the show. And also I LOVE the red carpet. Queen Street is shut down and covered in red velvet carpet and all the celebs get to enter the award show in most creative and coolest ways. In previous years people have arrived at the award show in Ferrari's, military trucks and school buses. But this year the award for the coolest arrival goes to............ KATY PERRY. She came in on an ice cream truck!!! ahahaha. It's so her to do that. It's fun, colourful, bright and creative. I wanna make an entrance like that everyday!!!!!

Now to the most important part of the show... who was the best dressed. I just want to start off and say, the ladies came to have fun and dressed to kill!! All the hemlines were SHORT and the heels were SKY HIGH. Just like they should be when you're at such a fun and interactive award show.

First up are Canadian sweethearts Shenae Grimes and Nina Dobrev. These girls were once stars of "Degrassi: The Next Generation" and now the pair are blowing up televisions worldwide as stars of "90210" and "The Vampire Diaries." Both ladies went for a darker look.

Nina was in navy blue sequined Spring 2010 Tadashi Shoji beaded strapless mini dress that she paired with Brian Atwood Wagner pumps. She looked gorgeous and sophisticated. I think I just love anything with sequins!! lol HEY.... DON'T HATE ME FOR IT!

Shenae went for a more playful look with a sheer top, cute leather pleated skirt, studded black belt by Toronto designer Amanda Lew Kee and a playful bun. What I loved about this look is that you could tell she was having so much fun with it. And that is what I love to see most when a celeb hits an award show! And that's why she gets LIIPSTIK APPROVED stamp of approval. Have fun with fashion PEOPLE!!
