Sneaker Fix -- Air Jordan V(5) Retro T23

Nike Harajuku has launched the Jordan Tokyo 23 Collection and it includes 2 forms the Air Jordan V (5) Retro T23 (pictured) and the Jordan CP3.IV T23. I really like the sneakers they are yellow nubuck leather with cement grey and white accents, which is perfect for the springtime. This sneaker is definitely a must have and will be available at all Jordan brand retailers in Japan, so for most of the people who cannot get to Japan I'm sure you'll be able to cop these kicks online! Check the deets below!

Air Jordan VII (7) Retro - Bordeaux

What a lot of people don't know about me is I love Jordans and I'm somewhat of a collector, i usually buy them and just leave them in the boxes lol mainly because I don't really wear sneakers that often anymore. MY all time favourite style of Jordan's would have to be the 7's, there is just something about the silhouette that is so sleek and they look cute on my feet lol. In April, Jordan will be releasing the Nike Air Jordan VII (7's) Retros in the Bordeaux colourway *screams* the reason this is such a big deal is because these haven't been released in 19 years and Jordan fans have been waiting. Now I'm not a diehard fan so I refuse to wait in a 10 hr line for some sneakers, Chanel purses yes, Jordan sneakers no, but you better believe I will have my hands on these joints when they're released. Check em out below!

Gilbert Arenas x D&G against the L.A lakers

Its no secret that most sports athletes boast a flashy lifestyle, I guess it just comes with the territory. Setting yourself apart other players is pretty hard when you're rocking the same jersey and very similar shoes. Although standing out fashion-wise isn't at the top of the priority list it is somewhat important to the basketball fashionisto's.

Gilbert Arenas loves a fancy kick and during his game against the L.A Lakers on Dec 7th, he decided his D&G high top sneakers were going to be his shoe of choice and man did he work it out. The black blue and yellow D&G sneaks matched his jersey to a tee and we love a dope match! These sneaks cost $395 but does it really matter when you look this fly? ughhh NO! Check Picks of the sneakers and Arenas in action below!

All i want for Christmas is....

..these Sam Edelman Alexander Strapped Hi Top Trainers!! I can be a sneaker girl when I want to, the trick is to find balance in whatever your wearing and I definitely like to switch up my style from time to time. Even though I've been over the whole spike/stud phenomenon, I can definately rock with these though, subtle accents of the edgy hardware adds the perfect twist to your good girl gone bad look! These sneakers come in 2 colour-ways, off-white and dusty blue and they cost $235, money ain't a thing when your balling like me...NOT!! This has officially been added to my Christmas list and Santa better be nice this year or else! *waves fists*. Check more pics of the kicks below!!

Sneaker Fix -- Vans x Santigold Collab

NYC singer Santigold has teamed up with Vans to create this fab sneaker combining her two fave elements, black and gold. The hi top sneaker comes in perforated black leather with gold chains, eyelets and they are actually hot!

These sneakers are very different from the usual Vans silhouette and I'm definitely a fan, they have this cool vibe about them. This collab is featured in Vans Spring/Summer 2011 collection, so we'll keep you posted when they drop! Check more images below!

Kiss It or Diss It? -- Air Jordan II Candy Pack

Trick or Treat check my feet, see these new J's made for me!

Halloween is literally around the corner and in the spirit of the season the Jordan brand is releasing some new 2's in red, green and yellow colorways. Now personally I don't think these are halloween colors their more like a Caribana sneaker as apposed to a Halloween one but that's just my opinion. The only ones I can reallly rock with would probably be the green and black joints mainly because green is my fave color, but only if I was playing ball or something. They are definitely not an everyday shoe, but I guess they're not supposed to be cute since they're made to go with a costume. These kicks were supposed to be released a few days before Halloween but Jordan pushed them back to Nov 7th *womp* so much for me rocking them with my goblin fit lol. Check the sneakers below!!

Sneaker Fab -- Supreme x Nike SB Collab

Here's a first look at the collabo sneaker for Nike SB and Supreme, they really wanted to create a skate shoe that had the feel of the early 90's but with a modern silhouette fit for today's fashionable sneaker heads.

Here's what Luke Meier head of the design team at Supreme had to say about their sneaker collaboration. “Our main thought was to create a newer version of shoes that New York skaters would have appropriated before [they] were real skate shoes, and combine that with other iconic basketball shoes from the time.” Love the sneaks they're casual but still dope, I can't wait to get a pair when they drop in November so I can see how well they allow me to "kick, push" on my skateboard. Video Fab -- Va$htie Kola x Levi Maestro discussing her Jordan 2's

Earlier in the month we showed you pics of the Jordan Sneaker that director and designer Va$htie Kola created. They were released Oct 2nd and we have a little video of her and videographer Levi Maestro walking around New York showing people the Violette Jordan 2's for his show "Maestro Knows Best". Loved the video it was a cute way to show us a little piece of New York and kind of see the person behind the sneaker. Va$htie seems like a cool down to earth chick and hopefully the people over at Jordan allow her to design the Jordan 3's!! We're rooting for ya girl!

Sneaker Fab -- Vashtie Kola, First Female to Design a Jordan!!

So this sneaker post is exclusively for the ladies, I find that a lot of the times sneaker companies forget that they have a female customer base and don't design kicks that have that feminine touch.

Have no fear ladies the Jordan Brand definitely took notice and enlisted the help of fashion designer and artist Vashtie Kola, to choose the colour ways for this new Jordan shoe. I'm a big sneaker fan and I like these, they aren't something I would wear on a daily basis however I can see myself rocking some dark denim and a cute leather with these kicks. These limited edition Jordan Retro II sneakers will be available at select stores October 2nd, check the details below!

Sneaker Fix -- Nike SB Dunk Low & Dunk Mid – Street Fighter Pack

I remember as a kid me my brothers and my cousins would always battle each other in Street fighter I was either Ryu or Blanka and believe that game was my drug.

This season Nike SB has introduced their Street fighter sneakers inspired by Ryu and Chun Li, and they definitely got the sneaker world buzzing about them probably because the game was so popular back in the day.

The Chun Li shoe is all blue with a yellow Nike swoosh and yellow stitching whereas the Ryu shoe, is cream coloured with a red Nike swoosh and black detailing both matching each characters fit in the game! More pics of the shoes and their insoles below!

Sneaker Fab -- Pierre Hardy Colorama Graff Sneaker !

French designer Pierre Hardy (one of my faves) comes out with a limited edition sneaker every season and this season it seems like the inspiration for the sneakers were graffiti tags. So far he is releasing two colour ways of his Colorama Graff sneaker joints, and they're pretty dope!

He's releasing 100 pairs each of the kicks and they'll be available at two of the flagship stores! Here is some of the look book art for the kicks, I loves!

Sperry Top-sider Women Fall/Winter 2010

Seems like Sperry Top-Sider is revamping their signature boat shoe into something a little more funky for their F/W collection. My faves would have to be the animal print high tops with the yellow accents, everyone knows I love a bold pattern to add that pop to any 'fit.

The Sperry brand is definitely taking tips from what was seen on the runways for Fall and applying it to these fun fashion forward kicks. These def give the fashionista who gets bored with her plain Chuck T's another fashionable sneaker option! Check out a few images from the F/W collection after the cut!

Is All Black Everything No More?

Mr. All Black Everything decided to ditch his signature look for a cooler lighter casual feel while kicking it on the beach with his friends Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. He chose to rock a white tee, some tan cargo's, and a fly gold watch. The piece that has peaked my interest in this whole ensemble are his sneakers. They're the Louis Vuitton and Kanye West collabo luxury sneaker called the "Dons".

I loved the collection Kanye launched in 2009 but I didn't really see anyone rocking the kicks but that's probably because of the hefty pricetag, the shoes go for anywhere from $840-$1140. These joints in particular go for $870, nice to see the Jigga Man supporting 'Ye. More pics of Jay-Z stylin on em, below!
