Lanvin Heart's H&M Launches Today!!!

Today is the big day!! Lanvin for H&M hits stores in 12 mins and I'm excited well kind of, mainly because I'm home in bed instead of in the line, getting ready to peruse the racks. Luckily for me I have a crazy sister that is willing to deal with the crowd on my behalf awww! Anyways I just checked out the H&M website today and found this "How to shop Lanvin for H&M" guide now I thought it was pretty obvious as to what one should do but I guess there may be some people confused about what to do when they get to the store, either due to the shock of it all or maybe they're just a little slow. Anywho, follow these guidelines and you're sure to succeed, happy shopping!!

Lanvin Heart's H&M Runway show!!

Alber Elbaz held a fashion show last night for his H&M diffusion line, the show took place in New York City's Pierre Hotel and it was hella hot! Amazing runway decor, lovely chandeliers, and the frothiest fashionista's and fashionisto's in the land were in attendance!

The collection has really come to life for me on this runway I love them even more than I did when we posted the look book images a few weeks ago. Tomorrow the collection hits H&M and it is sure to be bananas, ladies make sure you trade in your stilettos for a pair of comfy flats or sneakers because you're going to need it in the battle for clothes!

Lanvin Men

Hey all you freshmen out there, don't think the Lanvin collection for H&M forgot about all you fashionable men! NEVER EVER!

Here's a look at the collection for men and some pictures from the lookbook. The collection is filled with formal and casual wear, as well as fun funky shoes, bow ties and other accessories. In total the it is a strong 36-piece collection, with at least one thing for all the fashion loving men out there.

And ladies loved a well-dressed man. So Liipstik freshmen, take note!

Lookbook Loving for Lanvin

Earlier, we showed you the exclusive fashion show for the Lanvin collection for H&M. Now we have the images from the women's lookbook as well.

Just as the fashion show brought a smile to your face, so will the lookbook images and the clothes. They are simply gorgeous. The garments look high fashion, unique and very fashion forward. The fabrics, colours and textures of the collection all flow and collectively create a fun, hip and egdy line representing both the Lanvin and H&M brands. I swear if I didn't know it was made for H&M, I would just think the pieces were part of a regular Lanvin collection.

The best thing about the collection is it's affordable. And instead of me dreaming about the dresses, shoes, accessories and everything else in the collection, I can have them right in my closet.

Too bad I have to wait till the 20th. Till then I will keep on dreaming! And then my fantasy will become a reality. ahahahahah

Lanvin Has Finally Landed

Let's just declare today, Lanvin Day here at Liipstik shall we!!!

Today we have a lot of news about the upcoming Lanvin collection for H&M that will debuting in Canada on November 20th. So guys and girls, start to save your pretty pennies now, if you haven't already.

News about the collection has been buzzing ever since H&M announced its collaboration with the high-end fashion brand. And every few weeks new info has surfaced about the one-of-a-kind project.

Now we have a video the fashion show starring Hannelore Knuts, Jane Schmitt, Tati Collitar and Natasha Poly.

We finally get to see a peak of the collection! I'm grinning from ear to ear right now.

H&M Lanvin -- Sneak Peak Part Deux

Earlier in the week, Liipstik showed you an exclusive first look of Lanvin's collection for H&M and today we have a treat for you. Here's a second glance of some looks from the line, set to release here in Canada on November 20th.

The ad was shot by fashion photographer David Sims and stars models Natasha Poly, Hannelore Knuts, Jane Schmitt and Tati Collitar. The ad highlights great shoes and bags from the collection! 0o0oo0o I can't wait to see the rest. How long do you think the line will be to get into H&M that morning? Hmmmm......

I'm loving it!

Lanvin for H&M first Look!!

So it's finally here a sneak peak and the highly anticipated Lanvin and H&M collection! I'm sooo excited and I'm loving what I'm seeing, this ad campaign was shot for Vogue by David Sims and the pieces look divine, obviously this isn't the full collection but its just enough to keep us wanting to see what else Alber Albaz has up his sleeve. The pieces will be available at 200 stores in Canada and the U.S on Nov 20th. I love! Loves the tuxedo jacket, can't wait to see more when they drop!!

Video Fab -- Lanvin for H&M

Early last month Liipstik told you about the designer collaboration between fashion house Lanvin and fashion retail chain H&M. The collection is due to fit stores late next month and a sneak peak of the collection will debut on November 2nd courtesy of the blog Zet Fashion.

Last month H&M had a blogger competition and the winner gets to show an exclusive trailer of the Lanvin for H&M fashion show. This will be the first time ever anyone gets to see an exclusive look at the collection! I love it when H&M teams up with high end designers for a beautiful and affordable collection.

Until November, check out this video featuring model Natasha Poly talking about the Lanvin collection and get a behind-the-scenes look at an exclusive video for the line. Best thing to me about the video is the blurred out clothes!! Everything is s00o0o hush, hush. Love it!

Designer Collaboration -- H&M x Lanvin

It's been confirmed people Lanvin and H&M will be teaming up for a collection set to launch on November 20th 2010!! Creative directer Albert Elbaz will be working alongside menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver to design women's and menswear. I don't know about you guys but I'm SUPER excited, anyone who knows me knows Lanvin is one of my favourite fashion brands so you better believe I'm saving my pennies to pick up a few pieces! They are planning to release images on November 2nd of the collection so as soon as we get the scoop we'll def give you guys a sneak peak! Here's what Margareta van den Bosch, creative director at H&M had to say about the collaboration:

“We are thrilled about Lanvin’s collection for H&M, it is such an exciting moment. Lanvin will bring to H&M a luxurious French tradition that is also modern and playful. It is very much a Lanvin collection, using their cut and tailoring, with lots of focus on form and details for both women and men. The launch in November is going to be full of wonderful surprises.” Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.
