Oscar De La Renta S/S 2012 Bridal Collection

Tomorrow is the day the world has been obsessing over for the last few months, KateMiddleton and Prince William are set to tie the knot! It's some what like a fairy tale I mean the Prince is marrying a commoner which I think is cool but I don't like the fact that Prince William doesn't have added security for Kate when she's alone. I also don't like the fact that Prince William has a person who is TRAINED to take a bullet for him during the ceremony if someone wants to assassinate him but he does not have that same protection for Kate. I know he's the prince but she is still the woman 29834897487 million are envying right now I'm sure there are a few crazies who want to ruin her day because they feel they should be married to Prince William.

Anywhoo I try not to get caught up in the whole hoopla of the Royal wedding but I was definitely inspired and I can't help but to showcase these AMAZING wedding dresses from Oscar De La Renta's S/S 2012 collection. The gowns are stunning there are some unconventional gowns for the brides who are risk-takers and more traditional gowns with a modern twist, all in all I love them all. I love weddings and my favourite part is the wedding dress shopping, I mean I've never gone but I assume that would be the best part lol. My favourite show is "Say Yes to The Dress" so you already know I'm in wedding dress frenzy right now. To be honest I don't really care about the wedding I just can't wait to see Kate's dress!!

Tom Ford S/S 11 Eyewear x S/S 2011 Runway Show

This is Liipstik's first post of the New Year and of course we had to bring the fire with something fabulous from designer Tom Ford. I can't think of a better post than the footage from the VIP fashion show Ford had for his women's collection and his eye wear campaign for s/s 11 featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw.

Miss Abbey has switched it up on us and I'm loving this blonde on her. The campaign features some pieces from Fords womenswear collection and I see my favourite necklace from his collection has made an appearance once again. I commented on the gigantic crystal necklace a while back when they featured Ford's collection in Vogue and I will reiterate once again that I adoreeeee this necklace! The campaign is solid drawing inspiration from the 70's in a chic and sophisticated way.

The fashion show is in itself amazing, its very intimate and the who's who of fashion are in attendance. The models include Natalia Vodianova, Liya Kebede and Beyonce to name a few, Ford used women from all shapes, sizes, and walks of life to represent on his runway and it was dope. The show was very interactive and fun, I can only imagine how amazing the experience was as an attendee!

Lanvin Heart's H&M Runway show!!

Alber Elbaz held a fashion show last night for his H&M diffusion line, the show took place in New York City's Pierre Hotel and it was hella hot! Amazing runway decor, lovely chandeliers, and the frothiest fashionista's and fashionisto's in the land were in attendance!

The collection has really come to life for me on this runway I love them even more than I did when we posted the look book images a few weeks ago. Tomorrow the collection hits H&M and it is sure to be bananas, ladies make sure you trade in your stilettos for a pair of comfy flats or sneakers because you're going to need it in the battle for clothes!

Runway Fab -- Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen S/S 2011 Show

Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueens successor proved she was able to maintain the high drama and keep McQueens s/s collection just the way McQueen would have wanted it. There was a lot of detail in his collection, the pieces were so intricate and beautiful, unusual, flowy and feminine just how McQueen would have had it.

I'm in love with the dress made out of wheat, its so creative and seems like something Gaga would wear. The fluttering butterfly dress is a dream, I LOVE butterflies the colours are absolutely stunning and the structured shape of the dress is sexy! I didn't know what to expect from this collection but as you can tell I'm really pleased, I feel like McQueen was a part of this collection so Sarah Burton did an amazing job, Kudos! Check some Liipstik faves below!

Liipstik Picks -- Emilio Pucci Milan Fashion Week

Emilio Pucci for Spring collection wasq nothing less than hot! Plungling necklines, body hugging shapes, sexy cuts and luxe fabrics took centre stage on the catwalk. This collection is definately for a daring woman who is confident and isn't afraid of showing a little skin. This collection is definately one that I love mainly because I love being a risk taker when I go out, pushing the envelope is my thing. Can we also talk about how sexy those lace up boots are? In the words of Rachel Zoe "I die" those are a must have for spring!

Liipstik Picks -- DSquared2 Milan Fashion Week

DSquared2's collection for spring 2011 was fantabulous! I swear I wanted ALL the pieces, no exaggerations. It was geek chic, edgy and sophisticated all rolled into one. This collection is definitely different from what Dean and Dan Caten usually drop each season, but this is a change in a positive direction. All the pieces are wearable and I like that the pieces are flattering on all body types and women of all ages can find something fun from their collection to wear. This collection is super versatile, quirky and masculine but with the right amount of feminine bells and whistles, and for that DSquared2's Spring 2011 collection is Liipstik Approved!!

Runway Fab -- Prada Spring Summer 2011

For those of you who missed the show, here is the video from Prada's S/S 2011 collection. As per usual Prada brings the fire in a sophisticated show with bright hues and their signature noir pieces! Contrary to what everyone else was doing in their collection Prada kept neutral hues to a minimum and jazzed pieces up with stripes and different patterns. As per usual the accessories from this collection were on point and it seems like fur accents are gonna be a hot add on for any look. Check pics of them below!! Enjoy!
