Since watching Toni Braxton's new reality show "Braxton Family Values" it just reignited my love for Ms. Braxton. Growing up I was a big fan and this was one of my favourite songs I knew all the moves in the video from her solo two step to the group dance sequence! I went hard lol. This song brings back so much memories and I'm sure a few of you ladies had to tell an ex's new girl that you don't want their man since you've already had him. I had to do that this week and believe me she got an earful but in the most respectful way lol. Enjoy the video!
It's been a veryyyyyy busy month for us Liipstik ladies and we haven't had a chance to really post about Valentines but here is a cutesy track, actually one of my faves starring Beyonce. The track is called "Happily Ever After" by Case and the video is soooo cute and romantic! When I was little I would secretly watch this video and hope my future boyfriend would do something like that for me. Who doesn't like a man who plans a treasure hunt full of fly clothes, bling and flowers? Even though Valentines day is super overrated I love it whether I'm single or in a relationship, it gives me a legitimate excuse to either spoil myself or get spoiled lol.
In the spirit of the season, and being the lingerie fiend that I am had to include my fave pieces for the occasion, and ladies trust me you can NEVER have to many!! However fellas, I wouldn't suggest buying your girl lingerie unless you guys are at that place where she wouldn't be freaked out by it. You don't have to buy her the world unless you want to, get something thoughtful and really pay attention to the hints she's dropping because that will help you get her what she wants. Ladies, men are very simple. Often times you now what he likes so get that for him, this is a day to celebrate being a couple and contrary to popular belief V-day isn't only about the females, your hunny needs love too and wants to feel special as well. Lingerie, bling and a hot pair of shoes are definitely a V-day must pour moi, so here are my faves below!
In the spirit of Valentines I've posted this classic throwback, dedicated to the lovers! Prince is such an amazing artist and definately a character to say the least from his feminin fashion sense and amazing coifs he has won the hearts of many, young and old. "Adore" is one of my FAVOURITE Prince tracks, perfect song to get down too if you know what I mean *wink wink*. I would love a boy to sing this too me but I know that any cover of this song will fall short to the original so for now I'll just let Prince's sultry voice take me away....
*side note* Since we are talking about the lovely Prince check this vid of him kicking Kimmy K off the stage at his most recent concert cuz she wouldn't boogie. Cant blame him though, when Prince says dance, you DANCE!! She does look fab in that Alexander McQueen dress though!
Usher has been in the music game for a long time before he made it big time and broke into that top 40. He was a teenage R&B heartthrob that loved to show off his abs, rock his stocking cap and sport his "U" chain, all while turning all the girls on with his smooth dance moves.
This throwback brings me back to elementary when Usher was the man! Lol. I loved Nice and Slow when I was a kid and I knew it was a dirty song but at my young age I had no clue what he was talkin' bout, however you better believe I sure acted like I did. As I watch the video now I see one of the flyest ex-models that ever touched the runway and that was Ms Kimora Lee Simmons, she was looking super fab in the video but truth be told I wasn't really checking for her like that back then. I was too busy salivating over Usher and his baby oiled abs lol. Anyways I hope y'all enjoy this video I know I sure did!
