Tom Ford S/S 11 Eyewear x S/S 2011 Runway Show

This is Liipstik's first post of the New Year and of course we had to bring the fire with something fabulous from designer Tom Ford. I can't think of a better post than the footage from the VIP fashion show Ford had for his women's collection and his eye wear campaign for s/s 11 featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw.

Miss Abbey has switched it up on us and I'm loving this blonde on her. The campaign features some pieces from Fords womenswear collection and I see my favourite necklace from his collection has made an appearance once again. I commented on the gigantic crystal necklace a while back when they featured Ford's collection in Vogue and I will reiterate once again that I adoreeeee this necklace! The campaign is solid drawing inspiration from the 70's in a chic and sophisticated way.

The fashion show is in itself amazing, its very intimate and the who's who of fashion are in attendance. The models include Natalia Vodianova, Liya Kebede and Beyonce to name a few, Ford used women from all shapes, sizes, and walks of life to represent on his runway and it was dope. The show was very interactive and fun, I can only imagine how amazing the experience was as an attendee!

Tom Ford madnesssss!! Here are some sneak peak pics from Harpers Bazaar UK from Tom Ford's S/S 2011 collection. These are actually images from the fashion show which were probably taken by Terry Richardson seeing as though he was the only photographer at the show. "Hey Baby She's a Rockstarr!" -- Liya Kebede x Vogue Italia

Ms Kebede is serving it up once again for Vogue Russia, shes turns in her good girl look and has gone bad for the cameras. Working the fishnets, dark liner and a short rock and roll 'do, shes once again flexing that versatility bone we've grown to love.

I LOVE this editorial because Liya looks absolutely flawless and for lack of a better word F-I-E-R-C-E!She's really giving these young girls in the game a run for their money, because aside from her amazing poses she still looks young and fresh. More pics after the cut!

Video Fab -- Liya Kebede Discussing her Line Lemlem

Here is a video of supermodel and Liipstik Love Liya Kebede discussing her line "Lemlem".

She started the line in 2008 which specializes in hand-spun and woven, women and childrens clothing. I think its so cute that she uses her daughter Raee as a model for the line! They are both too cute, check the video and pictures below!

Exclusives -- Liya Kebede works it out for i-D Magazine

I've always been a fan of i-D mag, I love their unusual editorials and just the way that the magazine is executed. I found this cute editorial of Liya Kebede in i-D and the styling was a mix between scuba diver, meets sportswear topped with Cowboy accents.

Liya Kebede does not age, she looks young and fresh in this editorial demonstrating that she can pull off any look. Further proving that regardless of her age she can still work it out like the rest of the models, showing she will continue to have longevity in this industry. Like great wine she only gets better with age, bon apetit!
