Fab Designer Watch -- R&Em

Everyone knows that I feel accessories are essential to life, I mean an outfit isn't complete if it doesn't have that statement piece whether it be a bag, ring, necklace, or fun headpiece. I am an admitted accessory hoarder lol I have purses, belts, rings, earrings and bracelets for dayyysss, *shrugs* a girls gotta have options!

I came across the cutest purses from R&Em, an upcoming accessory designer. They recently celebrated the launch of their S/S 2011 collection at Macy's and it was hosted by fashion blogger Keiko Lynn. R&Em carries a great selection of leather totes, coin purses, laptop and Ipad cases as well as cross body bags. I really love their pieces especially the studded laptop case and the prices are A-MAZING!! The price points for the pieces range from $15-$88, and they are real leather, I swear it can't get much better than that! For any of you fashionista's that are interested in purchasing pieces from the collection you can check it out at Macy's or you can visit them at www.shoprandem.com. Check the pieces below!

All i want for Christmas is....

...Karen Millen necklace artwork peep toe pumps! These pumps are HOT, the detailing is so unique and fun and the heel is sky high just like I like them. To me these shoes are definitely something I would see Carrie Bradshaw and myself in lol. You can rock them with a cute holiday dress or even skinny jeans and a leather. Here I go again *sigh* adding yet another pair of shoes to my Christmas wish-list. I just hope I get at least one of my "wants" this Christmas. These shoes are reasonably priced and go for about $225, in my opinion these are a steal! They're feminine and unique and are sure to turn heads wherever you go!

Last Collection -- Kate Moss for Topshop drops Nov 2nd!

Ms. Moss is delivering her last collection for Fashion brand Topshop Nov 2nd and boy are we going to miss her! She's been rocking with the fashion brand for the last 3yrs and so we're sad to see her go! Will this be the end of Kate Moss' design efforts? Probably not. She's apparently collaborating on a line with Chloe Green who just so happens to be the daughter of Topshop CEO Phillip Green so stay tuned for that. Here is a quick teaser video for Kate's last collection and it definitely stays true to her style, lots of flowy fabric, prints and sequins, Loves!

Video Fab -- Va$htie Kola x Levi Maestro discussing her Jordan 2's

Earlier in the month we showed you pics of the Jordan Sneaker that director and designer Va$htie Kola created. They were released Oct 2nd and we have a little video of her and videographer Levi Maestro walking around New York showing people the Violette Jordan 2's for his show "Maestro Knows Best". Loved the video it was a cute way to show us a little piece of New York and kind of see the person behind the sneaker. Va$htie seems like a cool down to earth chick and hopefully the people over at Jordan allow her to design the Jordan 3's!! We're rooting for ya girl!

Liipstik NYFW Picks -- BCBG Max Azria Spring 2011

BCBG kept the neutrals going adding a pop of colour for their collection, the pieces were very lightweight and flowy keeping it airy yet chic. I noticed there were a lot of asymmetrical silhouettes with daringly short hems, which is perfect for showing off toned gams. Fave piece was the first dress perfect lbd with a little edge and a whole lotta sex appeal!

Check the video for Fashion Night out hosted by Andre Leon Talley and Hanneli Mustaparta, the commentary was tres annoying but I enjoyed the other aspects of the webcast. By the way can we talk about Ms. Gisele, she annihilated that runway, Naomi we see you, WORK! Her walk is too amazing for words, get it girl!!!

*btw Loves Pharrell`s performance, would have loved to see Nelly Furtado since she is singing the chorus on the track, nonetheless Skateboard P is such a cutie working that military inspired jacket

Dee and Ricky x Chanel Liipstik Broaches

So I stumbled upon the CUTEST Chanel brooches today and fell instantly in love because of course they are shaped like lipstick tubes, how perfect!! When I looked closer I found that they were made out of LEGO pieces how genius, right? I love them because they're super creative and last but not least they have a magnetic backing so they don't ruin your clothes like other pins and brooches do. The pieces are made by Dee&Ricky and they're pretty reasonably priced, sitting at $65, if you fab liipstik ladies want to get your hands on these bad-boys drop the designers a line at info@deeandricky.com!!

Designer Tag Team -- Brian Lichtenburg x Forever 21

Seems like designer collabo's are starting to see an increase seeing that they have been all the rage the last couple of seasons. Just like retailers such as Target, Gap, and H&M, Forever 21 has joined the list of brands that have at least one limited edition designer collaboration under their belt. On Thursday Brian Lichtenburg and F21 released a line of men's and women's tee's and tanks just in time for back to school.

I actually like the t-shirts and tanks, they're funky and have Lichentenburg's contemporary feel to them, just like his signature collections. The best part is that the tee's and tanks are priced under $15 which is definitely a steal, seeing as though his pieces are usually around $200. Fave tee would have to be the grey one with the thin white stripes and "BL" written in hot pink lipstick, definately a fab Liipstik must have!

Diary of a Fab Stylist -- I heart Anndra Neen

I saw this clutch today and it literally took my breath away!! The detail and craftsmanship was impeccable and I loved that it looked so shiny and dainty yet so rugged like a piece of protective armour for your clutch lol.

My new fave piece of "clutch-candy" comes from a line called Anndra Neen which was created by sisters Phoebe and Annette. These ladies specialize in bracelets, necklaces and purses for the fashionista who is looking for some extra edge to add to their wardrobe. These hand crafted pieces are created using mixed metals and have influences from Japan right down to Mexico. I love that these ladies mixed medieval inspirations with modern day fashion creating unique rustic pieces that any lady regardless of their fashion taste can enjoy. Below are some of Liipstik's faves from Anndra Neens S/S 2010 collection!!

Designer Watch -- Public School NYC

Public School NYC is a menswear fashion brand created by Dao Yi Chow and Maxwell who specialize in designing tailored pieces. Their collection consists of a lot of neutral colours and basic shapes with a unique twist! Public School prides themselves on being "the new conspirators in the wave of young designers who hang left of the rack." Their influences span from couture right to street inspirations.

What drew me to this brand is their amazing menswear jackets, especially their leather and trench coat pieces. I like that their pieces can transcend each season, the silhouettes are still basic but the actual designs are still very current and edgy. Here are a few of Liipstiks picks from the Public School NYC collection!!
