Super Birthday For a Supermodel

Today Brazilian bombshell, Gisele Bundchen celebrates her 31st birthday! Ya, she's 31 and has an even better body then most 20-year-olds. Gisele has had quite a year and quite a career at that. This year she starred in major advertisements, like H&M's spring 2011, countless editorials and magazine spreads and don't forget she was named the richest model for the past two years. So Gisele has much to celebrate.

Here's a little background info on the Victoria's Secret model. Gisele is not only a pretty face, but she is a designer and an activist. She was discovered as a teen at 13 and is a proud mommy and the married to NFL star, Tom Brady.

Gisele Bundchen the Fashion designer!

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is joining some of her fellow top models and collaborating on a clothing line for retailer C&A. The line will be chic and cheap just how we Liipstik ladies on a budget like it! The only downside is it wont be available in North America as C&A only has stores in Brazil and Europe *womp*. I'm absolutely adoring that coral coloured blazer super cute!! Anyways here are some pics of Ms. Bundchen working it out in some of her designs below!

The World's Top-Earning Model Is....

For the second year in a row Brazilian-native, Gisele Bundchen, is the top-earning model in the modelling game. For 2009 Mrs. Tom Brady made $25-million and for 2010 she made $20-million more, totalling a whipping $45-million! Yeah I said it, $20-million more!! Most of Bundchen's income for 2010 came from her endorsements with desingers and companies, like H&M Spring 2011 and Pantene, so it's no wonder she's making so much dinaro.

This year the top 10-earning models made $112-million in total compared to last year where they made $86.5-million. I guess the recession is over and fashion elite are willing to dish out more dough for their fave models.

I noticed that model veterans Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Joan Smalls and Chanel Iman were missing from the top-earners list. Not to mention, there are no visible minority models in the top 10. More Spring Surprises From H&M

With the countdown to the first day of spring only 5 days away, more and more spring ads keep on popping up. Today we have some more loving from H&M, this time from Liipstik love and supermodel, Jourdan Dunn.

The British 21-year-old modeling sensation, looks super cute in the ads, which are totally opposite from Gisele Bundchen's ads for H&M that we showed you last week. Gisele's ads were totally had a laid back, hippy and had bohemian feel to them. Whereas Jourdan pictures have a totally young, preppy, romantic vibe to them. I'm loving the stripped shirts, loose floral dresses and chino style pants. My fave look for the ad, is the loose high-waisted white pants paired with a patterned shirt and brown purse. LOVE IT! Totally cool with a 70s-inspired look that I'm feeling from head-to-toe.

The ads are casual chic done to a "t" and I love that H&M can bring so many different styles and looks under one roof to accommodate all the different shopping needs. Summer is the funnest time of the year for me to shop because you can always get the cutest things. I am going to be poor in a few weeks from all the shopping. AWWWWW WELL! At least I will be looking fly! Just kidding! But I will for sure be spending a pretty penny on some new pieces for my wardrobe.

I can't wait to see the male ads! I definitely need to see all the cute outfits I can pair my boo in. That is, if I had one! Hey a girl can dream, right?

The Vogue Repeat

For the April issue of Vogue Paris, supermodel Gisele Bundchen plays cover girl. The cover was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

This is the first cover for new editor Emmanuelle Alt and it's a hit, except for one thing. The white crochet Dolce & Gabbana dress dawned by Giselle isn't the first time it has been on a cover. This is actually the third time this D & G creation has been seen. The dress was previously shot on two other Vogue covers. The first was the February issue of Vogue España, where model Constance Jablonski was seen in the same white frock. Next was Britt Maren on the April cover of Vogue Deutsch in the same crochet dress. This is all in the year 2011 and yes I know what you are thinking, "Didn't the year just start!?" Yes, yes it did. And it doesn't make sense to me either.

It's a stunning dress, and defiantly cover worthy. But three times for the same fashion magazine publication. COME ON VOGUE! You are the fashion bible of the world and you're totally committing the biggest fashion faux pas. Not once, not twice but THREE TIMES. In this case, third time is not a charm, it's a curse.

So the topic on everyone's mind now: Who wore it best; Gisele, Constance or Britt?

What does it take to brighten up a gloomy and cold day? Well looking at a hot Brazilian model doesn't hurt.

Check out Gisele Bündchen in the new H&M Spring 2011 ad campaign looking totally fab in bohemian chic looks. These looks totally get me ready for the spring/summer worth I'm totally loving the creme-like jumpsuit. The clothes totally look like they have a 70s-inspired look and feel with the flowy clothes and her sexy waves in her hair.

Gisele looks like a Hippy and not totally spilling out sexy like a Victoria's Secret model. Her hair and makeup are totally fresh, soft and clean and complete the look. I can't wait to see more ads.

So finally I got my hands on some Fashion Night out footage for those of you who has missed it. Check the video for Fashion Night out hosted by Andre Leon Talley and Hanneli Mustaparta, the commentary was tres annoying but I enjoyed the other aspects of the webcast. By the way can we talk about Ms. Gisele, she annihilated that runway, Naomi we see you, WORK! Her walk is too amazing for words, get it girl!!!

Where is the LOVE? -- Part Deux

Yesterday, here at Liipstik we showed you two exclusive covers for Love Magazine's fall issue featuring models Alessandra Ambrosio and Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley. The mag is doing something very special for their September publication. They will be releasing eight collectible covers for all you fashion lovers.

All the cover shots were photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus. Today one cover featuring Gisele Bundchen aka "The Bombshell." She looks beautiful, stunning, gorgeous... she just looks s0o0o pretty. I love. She kind of reminds me of a Bond girl. I just wish I could see Gisele out of her element. She always has sexy big hair, perfectly bronzed skin and in lingerie. I wish they tried to explore and play around with her look, like they did with Alessandra Ambrosio's cover.

We also have a cover featuring 66-year-old ex-supermodel Lauren Hutton aka "The Heroine". I think Lauren's beauty is so classic and timeless. There is something about her cover that gives off that nostalgic and effortless beauty. I hope to look that good when I'm 66-years old.

Divas Getting Money

Not only are models some of the most beautiful women in the world, according to Forbes Magazine they are also some of the top-earning women in the world.

The magazine just released their yearly list of the top-earning models. Want to know who earned the top spot? Well she’s Brazilian, is married to one of the cutest NFL quarterbacks in the league and just had a baby. If you guessed Gisele Bundchen, YOU’RE CORRECT. The 5’10 beauty made $25-million between June 2009 and June 2010.

The list has not changed, considering all the ladies who were in the top ten last year are back on the list again. Even the ladies earrings for the year hasn’t changed that much. Surprising enough about five of the models on the list are Victoria's Secret models. INTERESTING!!! I guess it pays to wear those wings huh.

Gisele Bundchen covers Vogue Mexico

Brazilian bombshell and new mom, Gisele Bundchen looks phenomenal on the cover of the May 2010 issue of Vogue Mexico.

Bundchen is sporting some of the seasons biggest trends: military-inspired looks (her camouflage jumper and helmet), bold prints and bright colours. The cover was shot by photographer Nino Muñoz.

Gisele looks really good. Her skin, hair and makeup look flawless and I love the military helmet she's holding!She definately looks like a fashion solider. Everything on the cover pops and it's a good look for her. She looks young, vibrant and fierce. Welcome back to the modelling world Gisele Bundchen!
