Rihannas newest track is definitely upbeat with that Eurobeat flavour and we love it. Yesterday she was seen shooting the video for the new single and here are some of the looks from the set, Rih Rih keeps it raunchy with her "I don't give an f***" attitude and it works. Love the pin-up hair style mixed with some 80's flair to give us a new school vibe. The wedge sneakers which have been scene in collections for Prada are a def must have this season and as per usual Rih pulls it off looking super cute in her badgirl get-up! Summer Lovin' -- "Man Down"

So since the release of Rih Rih's latest album, I knew "Man Down" was going to be one of tracks for the summer! And finally the video has released and it's here. It was shot in Jamaica, one of my new loves in life! So Rih Rih + Jamaica = LIIPSTIK LOVES!!! Of course I'm loving the fashion sported by the Bajan beauty. It really has some sexy island flare!

Rihanna + Vogue + Video = FAB

Yesterday we showed you Rih Rih's spread for American Vogue's April edition, for their annual Shape issue. Her photos were stunning and the Bajan beauty looks like totally high fashion. LOVES IT!

Now we have a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot. You get to see the Pop princess on-set strutting her stuff for Annie Leibovitz. This is her first American Vogue cover and by the looks of it, this won't be her last. On shooting with Annie Leibovitz, Rih Rih said “She’s crazy. I love working with crazy people, because they fit right in. I’m crazy myself!”

This is one of my fave tracks from the album, so I'm uber excited about the video. I love Rihanna's black boobie harness bra thing (sorry, I don't know how to describe it). It's uber sexy and very Rih Rih. Make sure to check her out tonight LIVE durinng half-time during the NBA All-Star Game!

Here's some S&M for your Wednesday!! Its the middle of the week and this song should get you excited for the weekend. As per usual Rih Rih is selling her sex and not leaving much to the imagination.

The video reminds me of a Kid Rock video for some reason lol maybe its the blow up toys and funky furs. Either way the song is super catchy and will surely be in your head alll day, you're welcome in advance!

Smell Like Rihanna With Reb'l Fleur

Back in October, Liipstik told you about the newest star to join the celebrity fragrance game, the Bajan princess herself, Miss. Rihanna with her scent called Reb'l Fleur. Today we have pictures of the ad for the fragrance.

The scent is due to debut sometime early in the new year, sources are saying early February. Maybe Reb'l Fleur will hit store shelves just in time for Valentine's Day. The fragrance has hints of rich floral scents like tuberose, violet, hibiscus, and has a bit of an island influence with some coconut water.

Will you be picking up Rih-Rih's first scent? I hope it smells good and just is not a smelly potion she put her name on the get a dollar. Everything this girl does does well, so I'm pretty sure it will be a hit. What do you think?

Kanye and Rihanna For Interview Magazine

For the December/January issue of Interview magazine, it's a reunion for the Roc-A-Fella La Familia.

The redheaded Rihanna graces the the cover of the issue. Inside you can find a fashion spread shot by photographer Mikael Jansson and an interview by her label mate Kanye West.

The name of the article is called “The Colorful Art of Being Rihanna" and for sure the images were colourful and fashionable, just in Rihanna-style. The interview and article by West was just as interesting. As a journalist, West asked questions like,"Do you know any famous people now?" and "How does it feel to know that you could have any man in the world. Or woman. How does it feel to know that you can turn straight women gay?"

LOL. Like really Kanye? I think it's hilarious. Maybe because they are friends, a conventional interview was totally thrown out the window. But it's funny, I like those questions, I can't wait to see the issue.

AMA Edition -- Liipstik Approved

Last night in L.A music stars gathered for the 2010 American Music Awards. Usually I am very excited for award shows, but unfortunately this one was a BIG BORE! It was three hours of nothing. Nothing about the whole award ceremony had that wow factor. The only thing that was keeping me interested in watching the show was hopes of seeing some FAB fashions.

And there were some glimpses of hope. It was a tie for the best look of the night. One of my favourites of the night goes to Jada Pinkett-Smith in Emilio Pucci Spring 2011 with a gold bodice. The best part about the ensemble was the it was custom-made for the starlet. She paired the gown with Louboutin heels and gold glitter clutch. Lately, Jada has been stepping it up with her fashion and I'm a fan. And for her one-of-a-kind look, Jada is Liipstik's Approved look of the night.




Rihanna ALWAYS looks fab, so it's no wonder she's the other contender for best dressed look of the night. Rihanna is decked out in Elie Saab Fall 2010 Couture. I think it was the combination of her with her hair and the matching scarlet sheer floral gown. Either way she stood out from the pack. Rih Rih went for a more sophisticated and sexy look, but still took a fashion risk and was fearless. LOVES IT!



A lot of ladies went for a shorter hemline than the traditional evening gown. They wore cute short cocktail dresses, which are the GREAT, but is a safe alternative for a music award show. Here are the nights beautiful cocktail dress cuties.


Taylor Swift's dress is safe, but what really made this look pop was her new hair doo. I like the bangs. But do you think it's a wig? I don't know, but either way Swift looks so mature and fashionable and finally doesn't look like a little girl with her blonde ringlets playing dress up. She's in a Collette Dinnigan embellished dress paired with Jimmy Choo shoes.


Jessica Alba always looks sexy and sultry.


"Excuse me. I'm sorry. I'm really such a lady." Nicki sure does look like a lady in this dress. She's in Manish Arora Spring 2011 dress with Christian Louboutin heels to finish the look. Even though Nicki's bum isn't out, the outfit still screams her in every sense. It's colourful and fun and really is a piece of art.



Miley Cyrus is in Marchesa Spring 2011. She looks stunning and so cute. I like this look on the teen.


Miss Keri Baby! I just really love her hair colour!


Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas in Falguni and Shane Peacock, designers out of India. I really like the dramatic strong shoulder.


Christina Milian, great post-baby bod!

Worst dressed of the night goes to crazy popstar Ke$ha. I think this girl literally just rolls around in garbage and glitters all night. And if you pay close attention to her face, she has studded EYEBROWS! Yes, eyebrows! She doesn't have good friends if they would let her leave the house like this. POOR TING!

Video Fab -- "What's My Name"

I don't think anyone is as excited for the new Rih Rih album as me. Every single she has released from the album has been an instant hit and comes with a fashionable and fun video to match. Her fifth album called "Loud" drops on November 16th.

Here is the video for her track "What's My Name" featuring Toronto's own Drake. The video is s0o0o flipping cute. It's fun, flirty and young, just like the track. I love the whole NYC feel of the video. I'm not even going to lie, I got a bit sad watching this video. It's so darn cute. Drake and Rih-Rih's chemistry is undeniable. The whole video is adorable, it's just makes me what to make a guy say my name. "Oh na na. What's my name?"

Rih-Rih Shines for Marie Claire UK

For the December 2010 edition of Marie Claire UK, popstar Rihanna shines as the cover girl of the issue. Everything about the images pop. Maybe it becuase of her firery red hair and it just makes everything stand out. But I really think it's because of her beautiful glowing skin and all her wardrobe is filled with soft whites and pastels colours.

On the cover she is sporting a Mark Fast body-con white bejeweled dress, which I LOVE! There are two covers for the issue, one for the general public and the other for special subscribers. In the issue, the Bajan bombshell talks about her career, personality, fans, fashion and her new album "Loud."

New Scent Alert -- Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna

Do you remember a few months back when Rihanna debuted a new neck tat with the words "Rebelle Fleur" on it? Well it seems like that tattoo inspired the name for her first fragrance. Seeing as though celebrity scents are all the rage, it only seems right that with a new album coming out, Rihanna would join the LONG list of celebs who want to make you smell good.

Her new fragrance Reb'l Fleur, is being released in November and the scent has a note of tuberose, violet, hibiscus, with a dash of coconut water, sounds tropical! I love scents that have a note of coconut and vanilla so I'm looking forward to testing this one out. As a consumer I'm wondering if the scent will even smell good or if this is just another attempt to garner more buzz and record sales for her new album "LOUD" coming out in November. I guess only time will tell, we'll keep you updated!

Rihanna's Kodak "Boom" Commercial

I've seen both Trey Songz and Drakes Kodak commercials but Rihanna's has yet to be seen on television. Good thing for you guys we have the commercial. The setting for the commercial seems fitting for Rih Rih but what I love most about it is that they included Mariel Haenn (right) Rihanna's stylist in the commercial. After all she is the main reason Rih has been considered one of the top young fashionistas!

Rih Rih is Seventeen All Over Again!

We all can't get enough of Rihanna, and neither can Seventeen magazine. For the August issue of the mag, the pop princess graces the cover and has a youthful and fun spread inside.

The shoot seems to be very inspired by her homeland of Barbados mainly because of the bright colours and clothing selection for the shoot. She looks so comforatble like she's having such a great time. The Bajan belle's beauty and radiance shine in every picture. She seems so happy, fun and hip, just like a 17-year-old. I LOVE!

Rih-Rih's style shines and fits her to a "T". My favourite is her crochet white top. So cute and fitting for the summer and of course perfect for her closet.

Here is what Rih-Rih had to say about her love for fashion and her own style for the mag:

"The thrill in fashion for me is taking a risk and daring myself to make it work. Even when I go shopping, I always buy something twisted and I know I’m going to have to figure out somehow to pull it off and make it my own."

Exclusives -- Rihanna Sparkles in Purple and Gold for ELLE

Miss Rih Rih is gracing the cover of the July issue of Elle and is looking absolutely stunning while doing it! Rih is showing shes an ANIMAL in this cheetah print inspired story. Rhianna is not one of the best artist in the game right now but she sure is a really good model.

When I see pics like this of Rih I almost forget she is an artist and not a model because of the way she draws you in with each pose and expression. Along with the spread Rih is dishing about her love life and her yummy man Mr. Matt Kemp, C.Breezy and her fave designers. Gotta love some good gossip to enjoy with the girl-girls!! So earlier this month we showed you a few pics of Rih Rih shooting her video for "Te'amo", well we have the exclusive video! This video is super sexy and is starring super hot Victoria Secret model Laetitia Casta as Rih's leading lady. Both girls are heavy with the girl on girl action in this one, chemistry was definately there and you could feel it *wipes brow*. I'm loving the wardrobe, especially the floral print dress, Rihanna is still edgy, and sexy but with a girlier feel. Te' Amo is very catchy, and I love Rih Rih's sultry seductive vocals on the hook, I am going to warn you this video is HOT so watch it in a secluded place lol. Enjoy!!
